For sale is this HUGE musical leaf from an old Christian music book. This is a authentic large decorative leaf with musical lines on vellum. This piece came from a fragment of an antique folio music book hand written, drawn, and illuminated in the 1400’s . This piece is written in mostly black ink (with some other colors as decorative embellished portions) on a large piece of heavyweight vellum. It is printed in Latin. This would be a wonderful piece to frame or display! With its large size (28+ inches tall), it would be an incredible teaching tool, collectible, or decor piece. There are several cosmetic blemishes (related to aging) such as: holes, repairs on reverse, faded, wear to vellum, oxidation of letters, and more. Overall it is still good for being 500-600 years old roughly! Please study the photos carefully so that you have a good idea of condition! This might ship rolled to prevent damage or bends in shipping. Perfect for any collection! Don’t pass it up!
