    Description

    Handwritten document addressed to the Commissioners of Common Schools of the Town of Hurley was signed by Trustees Daniel Maxon (died 1828) and Ten Eyck De Witt (1792-1883), certifies schooling since last report, names two teachers ( Richard Ten Eyck and Peter Wynkoop), monies received, numbers of children and names of parents or masters and the number of children associated with each.
    Measures 12 1/2  X 7 3/4 inches, with two full pages of writing and Trustees signatures on reverse of front sheet.
