To The Honorable Justices' Of The Court Of General Sessions Next To Be Holden At Taunton On The 4th Tuesday Of September AD 1827 We The Subscribers The Selectman Of The Town Of Westport Do Approve Isaac Cory Jr As A Retailer Of Spirituous Liquors In The sd Town In The Ensuing Year & Do By here Recommend The sd Cory As A person Of Sober Life & Conversation Suitably Qualified & Provided For The Service Of Such Employment & Firmly Attached To The Constitution & Laws Of This Commonwealth Westport September 24th 1827.
