1860 Original Mortgage Vellum Indenture
Measures approximately 28" x 23". Quite large and in superb bright condition. Features a 10 shilling embossed blue Royal tax stamp, with a foil escutcheon and the corresponding cypher label on the reverse,
and 5 red wax seals with signatures. The copyist shows great skill in his calligraphy and the document is easily readable; not always the norm with these documents.  The document represents a mortgage of land and property in the sum of 200 pounds. Impressive as a framed document.

The outer or blank sides of the documents are usually discolored from age. Since vellum production was a hand process, there is variation from document to document. Occasional natural blemishes are clear evidence of authenticity.
All indentures will be shipped folded, just as they were stored in archives.
You will receive the exact document in the photos. Please look closely at the provided images and choose appropriately.
I ship to the 48 contiguous United States only.
Shipping is SAFE and FAST - Most orders will be shipped within one business day of cleared payment.  Shipments will be USPS First Class Mail and will include a packing list and tracking number.
I do not guarantee delivery dates, USPS is massively overloaded these days. Realistically, expect your purchase to arrive between 7 and 21 days.
14 day refunds will be given as money back less shipping charges.

I do my best to represent each document as it would look in normal daylight. I don't add obfuscating gel lights or any underhanded methods. If you are not satisfied with what you see, let me know. I'll provide you with additional images. I do not enhance or touch up any images.
