    World War 1 (WWI) Poster Issued by the U.S. Food Administration Department, circa 1917
    Designed by famous American artist/illustrator Henry Patrick Raleigh
    Dramatic propaganda poster depicts a soldier lifting up an injured man, appealing to those on the home-front with "Blood of Bread: Others are giving their blood. You will shorten the war - save life if you eat only what you need, and waste nothing" written below
    Poster has retained its vibrant colours and presents beautifully
    Printed by Forbes in Boston, as noted at the bottom right corner
    Size: 21" x 28.5"
