    Description

    This is an original Home Front propaganda poster from WWI, measuring 37 1/2" x 26". It features artwork by Gerrit A. Beneker, and encourages the public to get behind the troops by purchasing Victory Bonds. It was made by "EDWARDS & DEUTSCH LITHO. CO, CHICAGO", according to the fine print along the bottom. It is not a reproduction, and has been mounted on flat cardboard and shrink wrapped for many years. The plastic has made pictures difficult, but I will keep trying and will post better ones. You can see my reflection (and a tripod) in most, sorry. This is a great piece of history for your collection. Please see my other auctions, as I have several original posters.
