1966 Fender Super Reverb..blackface. A real one. When I bought it from a retired C&W musician, who owned since new, he had modified it with some sort of boosting method that I’m sure at the time seemed worthwhile. I immediately brought it to my electronics guru who went on line to secure all schematics related to this model. He then replaced all components not up to spec, cleaned all that were, and removed and re-soldered every connection. Every diode, resistor, cap and joint has been addressed. All the noise has been cleaned out of the original hurried solder joints. Quiet and clean sound throughout the range. A completely rejuvenated warrior, with scars intact.
