1979 Fender Pro Reverb Silverface Guitar Amplifier 70 Watts 2x12 1979's Vintage

This listing is for a Vintage 1979 Fender Pro Reverb Amplifier. Whoever first used the expression "Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" must have had this amp in mind. The amp looks really rough and has been through it all yet somehow it's still a great sounding great. These late 1970's Fender Pro Reverbs are really powerful and run roughly 70 watts through 2 x 12" speakers. The amp sounds great and these high wattage amps are great for pedal steel guitar or a Fender Rhoads or Wurlitzer but also sound great with a good ole Telecaster. The amp appears to have some water or moisture damage on one of the speakers. The transformers are original and one of the speakers is original. The other speaker is obviously changed along with the reverb tank, power cable and all the electrolytic capacitors. The back panels are missing and no footswitch is included. The tremolo works but needs the foot-switch to activate it. Please look at the pictures and message with questions.
I would much prefer local pickup in Brooklyn, NY but will ship upon request and the buyer pays all shipping charges. I set an high estimated flat rate shipping amount but if the actual amount is less than the amount charged I will issue a refund of the difference. This amp is not insurable though Fed Ex or UPS so I cannot be responsible for any shipping damage and if a return is requested the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs and the original shipping charges will not be refunded.
