    Description

    Two Antique Islamic Koran manuscript leaves - Ottoman Era. Likely handwritten in early-to-middle 1800's. Polished paper with Multi-colored borders. The paper for this leaf is very brown with darkened center-fold and paper edges - apparently caused by heavy worshiper use. Note: Leaves are joined and measure 7.5" x 10".
    BONUS: Bi-fold leaves. Presumably religious text with no ornamentation. Possibly written in Persian. Excellent condition on fine, clean polished paper, and written in fine calligraphy. Text measures 2" x 4" with very wide margins. Total bi-fold size is 7" x 9 1/4".
