    Description

    My father was an engineer working on rockets for Aerojet in Sacramento in the early 1960s. The pen and mechanical pencil set is still new in its plastic box, Wearever brand, Made in USA, with the following printing on the pen: Awarded for Outstanding Safety Performance AGC Liquid Rocket Plant 1960-1961. The mechanical pencil has this printing: 13,000,000 Safe Man Hours - A New Liquid Rocket Plant Record 1960-1961. The ink in the pen appears dry.
    The notebook is well used, with the following imprinted on the cover: Solid Rocket Design Handbook, Property of Aerojet-General Corporation. It is emtpy except for blank paper and A to Z index tabs.
