You are bidding on Antique Manuscript hand-written Megillat Esther complete Original Hebrew Language on Deer Parchment brown Reddish. Highly sought after by collectors a Complete Antique Esther Scroll called "Megilat Esther" Came from Syria It's written Handwritten with black ink on  Deer Parchment.
(i.e. parchment made from the whole hide rather than split, processed for writing on the hair side only, and prepared with a mixture of salt, flour and mey afatzim [wasp residue/gall-nut water]) comprising 7 sheets of Parchment. All section tightly sewn with natural animal string called "Giddin which is made from the leg sinews of a kosher animal. Complete Esther scrolls of this age are seldom seen in synagogues or available due to their age. The scroll considering its age is well preserved and in good condition and will stay beautiful with care for centuries to come. The parchment holds its ink well and the letters remain black and easy to read. Except for the first page, which shows the wear and tear of age and time, such as wrinkles on the parchment and a few holes and patches that have been repaired.

The scroll is rolled on a beautiful wooden handle.
The scroll contains 20 colomns on 7 pieces of Brown gevil.
The Scroll measures approx - high 20 cm  X  long 3.45 meter.

WRITTEN  IN A VERY ANCIENT  SCRIPT ON  BROWN DEER SKIN  LEATHER PARCHMENT KNOWN AS DEER SKIN "GVIL".
