    Description

    Up for sale is this lovely original antique manuscript poetry page which is illustrated with a beautiful original watercolor flower painting towards the top margin of the frontside.
    The piece is circa sometime around 1823.  It is done on a single piece of paper with a handwritten poem to both the front and backside.  The piece was removed from an album where some of the pages were watermarked "J. Whatman 1823."  This page does not have the watermark.  The paper measures approximately 9 inches by 6 3/4.  All in all a rather beautiful old piece.  Please look at the photos to note the condition.
