Antique Whaling Blubber Spade - 18 inches long

Description

Antique Whaling blubber spade with a piece of the wooden handle attached.  Marked "Macy" and "Cast Steel".  Has a rusty patina and some of the original orange paint - overall good condition for it's age.  Metal part is 18 inches long.  There is a slight bend in the blade.
