    CONTACT INFORMATION IS LISTED BELOW.
Our backlights have the contacts in the correct position for your display. No messy jumpers needed.
There is minor soldering involved. Most people consider this a repair they can do themselves. You can also take your instrument to a service center and have them do it.
We ship to all worldwide locations serviced by the US post office. Shipping charges vary on international destinations. Ask for freight charges when ordering.
We also include an email of the contents of a CD that is free with a backlight order.
The email is a generic explanation of what to do once the display has been removed from the instrument. Your instrument may be different than what is shown but the principle is the same.
Again, DO NOT pry apart your display as damage may occur.  The email is helpful when working on Korg, Akai, and other displays. ALL INFORMATION ABOUT TOOLS IS ON THE email.

You will most likely need a new backlight but make sure the inverter is working. An easy test is turn the instrument on in a very dark room. If there is even a slight glow the inverter is good. If there is no glow it could be the inverter or just a totally dead backlight. If the light is completely dead you need to check the inverter either at the backlight contact points or at the inverter voltage output pins to see if there is power going to the backlight (approx. 70-100vac @ 400hz). If there is power you only need a new backlight. If there is no power you need to fix the inverter circuit and it is very likely that you also need a new backlight. If you don't have proper test equipment you can order and install a new backlight (which you most likely need anyway) and if that doesn't fix it you will need to hunt down the problem in the inverter circuit.
