  • Condition: New AC Line Voltage reducer designed to safely run vintage electronics which draw less than 4A. Called a "Bucking Transformer", it is a highly dependable linear circuit with no active devices. Description

    For Sale:
A Voltage Reducing accessory designed to run vintage electronics safely on modern AC circuits.  Much vintage electronics such as the famous Collins R390 or R390A receiver was designed to run off 115VAC as it was called back then.  This device safely reduces modern 125VAC down to approximately 115-116VAC so long as the current draw (load level) is less than 4A.  So it is at home running a Collins R390A, a Hammarlund SP-600 or even a vintage Fender Guitar setup.  The last picture shows two of these boxes sitting on top a friends R390A receiver.
This is my last one and this sale is for one (1) box.
    Shipping:
Too heavy for First Class and really too light for Flat Rate so we ship in a special class which still carries insurance, tracking & priority service.
    Terms:
Sold as described but strictly as is.  We are dispensing an estate and do not take returns.
