    Original C.W. Love poster for a 1917 Red Cross World War I campaign. The slogan reads, ''If you can't go across with a gun come across with your part of the Red Cross war fund''. The modernist poster depicts a wounded soldier and possibly homeless local residents of a war torn country looking hopefully toward a distant stylized American skyline. Paper loss to margins and horizontal separation at mid-line of 28'' x 40.5'' poster. Overall in fair to good condition with no significant loss of image. Flaws can be nicely concealed with framing.
