A gigantic decorative  liturgical manuscript leaf on vellum, produced in a Spanish scriptorium around 1600
The manuscript from which this leaf stems was sold in Christie's auction of December 8, 1982 (lot #145).  Christie's date for the production of this manuscript was 1550. However, that date seems to be too early.
Size of the leaf :
ca.27 " x 19.5"(685 mm x 500 mm).
Condition:
As shown, on vellum in good  condition with  evidence of ageing, original vellum flaws, edge flaws, etc.

Both sides of the leaf for sale.
