HUGE Vellum Torah Scroll - Israel Hebrew Bible Manuscript Circa 1500-1700’s Rare

For sale is this incredibly rare Torah Bible scroll fragment made from thick vellum. This manuscript is HUGE! This piece originated from Ashkenaz Jewish peoples, and is estimated to be from the 16-18th century. There are several columns of writing total, on a few different pieces of vellum. It does have several condition flaws, including tough vellum, wrinkles, folds, stains, holes, tears, and other blemishes. Please study the photos carefully so that you will know exactly what to expect. The scroll would have once contained other pieces, but is now just a fragment of text. It is handwritten in Hebrew by a skilled calligrapher. Torah fragments like this are extremely rare, and are seldom seen available for sale, or outside of synagogs. Considering its age, it is very well preserved, and can be unfolded easily for reading. Please study the photos for a better indication of the condition. Overall it is in good condition for the age, but is by no means perfect (this is an antique document). The scroll would look beautiful framed on display. This has incredible provenance. It came from a Hebrew manuscript dealer located in Israel. I purchased it from the Manuscript dealer dirictly and have had it on display in my personal collection since. Perfect complement to any collection! Don’t pass it up!
