ILLUMINATED QURAN MANUSCRIPT BIFOLIO WITH PERSIAN TRANSLATION:
What you see is a fantastic illuminated
Quran
manuscript bifolio with
Persian
translation. It is part of a handwritten manuscript from the
Ottoman
era. It is
undated
but looks around
200
years old (
I am not sure
). The text represents illuminated Complete verses of
Sura
Al - Fatihah
(
The Opening
)
and the heading and first verses of
Sura
Al – Baqarah
(
The Cow
)
, and is framed within a
colored
frame. The words are also written with a beautiful Arabic Calligraphy over a
colored
background.
Persian translation
of the verses is written in
red color
under the lines. The dots between verses are made of
Pure Gold
.  The ornaments around the two Suras are colored and contain
pure gold
.The leaf is well preserved and shows no damage or worm holes, but a little foxing. These are

leaf with
4
pages. It measures 16.0 cm x 9.50 cm. You
