    (section) of an Old Koran Probably from the Nineteenth Century, with magnificent illuminations. All Korans should have 30 sections, to be read over one month. This section is number 4 and it is a large format type with 3 highly illuminated pages.
    The manuscript has 23 leaves; it is in
    naskhi
    script; 11 lines to a page; with first and last are written in blue in
    thuluth
    script, and the second and last but one line are written in red in
    thuluth
    script.
    All verses are indicated by small gold disc; the manuscript begins with verse 92 of Al Imran and ends with verse 22 of Al-Nisa’. Size: appox. 21.2 x 29,5 cm.
    The manuscript is bound in simple card boards, painted in gold on the outside, slight effect of dampness, but still in a very good condition. Undated, but most likely from the 19
