    Description

We are very pleased to offer an
    original,
    circa-1918
    ,
WWI Homefront poster produced by the Dept. of Labor to enroll boys in "
    The Boys Working Reserve
    ". It's entitled, "
    Y.M.C.A, / FOR YOUR BOY / UNITED WAR WORK CAMPAIGN / NOVEMBER 11-18, 1918
" with the image of a young man in a military uniform, with rifle, accepting a cup of coffee from an older soldier.
The artist's name is displayed "
    Arthur William Brown
    ", and the printer's name, "
    KETTERLINUS PHILA.
" is at the bottom right corner.
This well-known poster has been stabilized and nicely framed under glass (see framer's name in photos). It measures 20-1/4" wide by 29-3/4" tall inside the 1/4" red-colored metal frame.  Because of its age, there are some condition issues as follows: water stain st the lower right corner; horizontal folds; some edge wear/surface loss on the left and bottom edges; a possible 1" tear at the lower right edge. Despite this, the piece displays extremely well and is ready for hanging. An iconic and extremely desirable piece of WWI war time memorabilia!
This piece is part of a Southern Vermont estate of a man who traveled the world, and is absolutely authentic.
The cost of a professional artwork shipping box is included in the price.
The winning bidder pays shipping costs. Good luck, and thanks for looking!
