Up for Sale is a truly marvelous Antique Original Antiphon Parchment Manuscript
With Black, Red and Green Ink
XVI Century
With a Beautifully Decorated Drop Cap
Handwritten, probably by a monk, in Latin
The subject is a Psalm
Notice the black lines right under the text, made by the writer to maintain a straight course
In pretty good condition, considering it is 500 years old
It shows some blacken in the lower part of the parchment, perhaps from exposure to a flame
Overall, in a good conservation state
Text on front and back of parchment
Unframed
I suggest to frame it with a Museum-quality glass on one side (the side you are gonna expose) and regular glass on the other side
Dimensions: 20" L  x  approximately 16" W
Acquired at auction from Gonnelli Casa D'aste in Florence, Italy.
