    Description

    Original 1918 lithograph commissioned by the YMCA to support the United War Work Campaign, a national fundraising effort held at the end of the First World War. The image pays tribute to homefront labor and to soldiers at the front as equally necessary to the war effort. Artist is Adrian Gil (A.G.) Spear, an illustrator and designer best remembered for his work in the automotive industry during the 1930s and 40s, when he was employed by GM, Chrysler, and Ford. Dimensions are 28 x 21 inches.
    Newly linen backed (10 oz cotton canvas + 100 lb cotton paper) and acid-neutralized. Excellent condition; no fold lines; strong colors; no missing paper.
