    Description

Explore the mind of an SS man and probe the mentality of person who would follow his Leaders' orders to commit acts that cannot be mentioned without horror
.   Names misspelt on purpose on title.
As the living witnesses of the National Socialist (Nazi) era and Germany are now few,  most of whom were young children or teenagers in pre war period (1933-1939), we naturally should put greater emphasis on the literary documents of that eventful era, a time seared into the collective consciousness of the succeeding generations of the old world and new, as one of horror, exultation,  evil, and less frequently, heroic ones.  In the coming centuries I have no doubt that the interest in this period will only increase to such a point as to outshine all that came before or after that era. Relics of the time, particularly written ones, will only increase in value as future generations will try to grasp not only what happened but why it happened.
This WAFFEN SS rare pre war post card epistle may contribute to the understanding the mind of Georg Gessner, born 1905, who joined the Waffen SS sometime before 1937, and after having served as a "Gestapobeampter" or Gestapo official in Munich along with Anton Gessner, was
arrested after the war in 1948 and sentenced to 6 years. (Quite serious)
Waffen SS stamp with 16W and Weiden post stamp.  Large amount of text in recto and verso of this 1.5 in by .5 in card. Georg is addressing a relative dated Feb 19 1937.  Untranslated.   Pre war SS Material is rare as this was only 4 years after the start of the NS era.  This was before the waffen s s recruited foreigners.
Comes with mystery gift book from the early 1900s a memento of the halcyon days before the world wars.
Note: Modern National Socialists (Neo Nazi)  need not bother purchasing this letter. As you all know, I will have the name and address of the purchaser, and if I find any clues as to the purchaser's political sympathies to the Third Reich, I will contact ebay.  I will not service aspiring  Shutzstaffel men or SA brownshirts!!!
