Simple Shiny Bail Sterling Silver Open Loop #631 (3) Plain Bails

Description

Open ring. Size: 12mm long, 3.3mm wide, 3.7mm deep. Stringing hole 3mm x 4.5mm. Bottom loop approximate size: outside diameter 4.1mm,  inside diameter 2.1mm, wire diameter 0.9mm. Sterling silver.
The open ring should be opened like jump rings, not just pulled open. Use 2 pairs of pliers. Grip the ring on each side of the split with the pliers. The pliers tips should be as close to the split as possible. Gently twist one hand towards you and the other away from you. Only open the ring as far as necessary so it is not distorted. Connect to your piece. Gripping the ring again, as above, close the ring. Make sure to not pull the ring outwards as it will distort the ring and place too much stress on the soldered joint.
