    Description

    Very nice 15 1/2 inch solid Ebony wood baton with sterling silver accents. Inscribed on middle as shown and datted 1906 to Harry R. Detweiler from Bess Seale and Leona Meyer April 24th 1906. This nice piece was found at a Joliet, Ill. estate sale. Very fine condition with only a little tip damage which is typical on these batons. No repairs, cracks or chips on wood. A very nice 115 year old piece. Case is in very nice condition with working clasps. It has an overlay of pig skin on one side for durability. Other side is very fine grain leather. Very expensive case back then. Thank you for viewing!
