Originally made famous by Jimmy Page and currently used by Paul Simon, Joe Perry and more, Supro is known for creating an "it" sound that has captivated players and listeners alike for decades!
In its heyday, the tube amps made by Valco in Chicago under the Supro brand name were among the best sounding and top selling rigs on the planet. These amps played a significant role in defining the sound of rock and roll music. From the Southside Chicago musicians to the British acts that were inspired by these blues masters, the up-front and gritty sound of Supro was the de-facto tone of the day.
Featuring two individual channels, each with two separate modes, that pumps 35 watts of gorgeous tube power through a single 15" Supro TB15 speaker. The TB15 speaker is not original and was replaced at some point in its history.
Channel One is switchable between "Bass" and "Treble" modes and Channel Two is switchable between "Guitar" and "Accordion", expanding the tonal possibilities for players of multiple genres.
Loaded with a classic Supro Tremolo circuit, you can expand your playing experience with a shimmery tremolo effect that ads layers to your riffs and solos.
Dial in the perfect sound by using each channels independent Volume and Tone knobs and then add in the perfect amount of Tremolo with the Speed knob.
Don't miss out on this classic sound and history-filled amp!
According to the serial number this amp was made between 1964-1968. Made in the USA.
