    An original 1918 WWI Navy propaganda poster "SURE WE'LL FINISH THE JOB".   Artist ~ Gerrit Beneker.  Victory Liberty Loan.  Popular image of a worker supporting the war effort
    The date of the poster is 1918.  The item measures 25 1/4" x 38" prior to linen-backing.  Linen-backing is a process to preserve paper. As part of the process the posters are adhered to linen (a reversible process that prevents folds from opening up), cleaned and de-acidified (serving to preserve the color of the poster). The process creates a vibrant piece of art that is suitable for framing. Condition is good.  Some border wear, aging, and discoloration, but overall a nice poster.
