    Description

    Framed Watercolor Painting by Quah Ah (meaning white coral beads), Tonita Pena of San Ildefonso Pueblo, New Mexico. She was famous for her pen and ink on paper watercolors and as a teacher in the 1920s and 1930s. This piece is a fine example of the techniques for which she was renowned.

    Framed: 18 7/8" wide x 21 7/8" high x 1 3/4" deep
    Art: 10 3/4" wide x 13 3/4" high
    Please disregard any white spots on this piece of art. They are reflections of the camera flash on the glass and are not "Condition Issues".
    Condition:
    There is foxing throughout the white of the painting.
    Minor discoloration of the white edges of the sides of the painting where it was reframed.
    There are scuffs and scratches on the frame.
    There are some spots of paint missing on the frame.
    The paper on the back is ripped.
    There is a pinhole or dot on the bottom right hand side.
