  • Condition: We know little to nothing about art but being in Oklahoma, we recently heard of Willard Stone and his fine works both in drawing as well as sculpting. Here is a hand-signed numbered print that we believe is 6 out of 1,300. The first number looks also like a 4 but we have another limited drawing of his currently and its number is most likely a 6 and we believe they are matches. NO creases, NO smudges, NO hand or fingerprints, and NO marks other than the artist's. The condition is formerly framed with all but a tiny sliver of the bottom edge on front showing where a piece of tape once was on the back. A tiny tiny line of the tape glue got on the front along the very bottom edge in the center (see photo). On the back, in the bottom center, part of that tape still remains. No indication on the front or back is present for any tape that would have been used to hold the top down.

    Stone was a renown Native American Cherokee Indian artist and sculptor. He often sketched what he later sculpted.
    The thick almost parchment-like paper runs 9 inches across and about 12 inches tall.
