    Gorgeous 1919 WWI Poster with spectacular colorful artwork by Artist Leon Alaric Shafer skillfully captures a tense moment at sea in this exciting image, depicting a German U-Boat confronted by an American destroyer escorting a troop transport ship.   One of the most breathtaking WWI posters ever created.  Very good condition with wear and small chips on border.  That said, quite amazing Original condition for its 102+ Years years !  Artwork remains stunning.   Rolled.     Offered in this lot is a poster issued by the United States government as part of their Victory Liberty Loan campaign, the fifth and final of the government's series of liberty loans during World War I. Artist Leon Alaric Shafer skillfully captures a tense moment at sea in this exciting image, depicting a German U Boat confronted by an American destroyer escorting a troop transport ship. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have edge wear, some chips, tears, faint creases, or mild stains including tape stains. There are a few pieces of paper tape on the verso.   That said, a Very Rare, desirable WWI Poster that is highly sought after by collectors !
