    Description

Do you have a 2ohm fender amp or cabinet and want to use another amp source that has a 8ohm or 16ohm out? Does your amp only support a 8ohm out but you need to go into a 16ohm cabinet? The Z-Matcher is the tool to get the job done! It is built like a tank!
The Z-Matcher allows you to match the output impedance of your amp to impedances of speakers and cabinets that are not the same as your amp output impedance. Matches 2, 2.6, 4, 5.3, 8, and 16 ohms amplifiers to 2, 2.6, 4, 5.3, 8, and 16 ohms speaker systems. Includes an extra output jack (parallel) and a balanced and unbalanced line out with a level adjustment.
    The Z-Matcher is
    not
a dummy load – it only matches impedance, so you will need to have a load connected to your amp (usually the speaker cab is the load, but for dummy load purposes you will want to look at weber attenuators, which can all be used as dummy loads.)
    Technical:
This unit is rated for 100w, which means you can use any amp
    up to 100 watts.
    The
    Extra Output
is wired in parallel to the main output.  You will need to follow the rules of parallel speaker systems, and this means that you will have to consider the impedance of the speakers/cabinets if you do want to use both outputs.  For example, if you have two 8 ohm cabinets: one 8 ohm cabinet plugged into the main output, and one 8 ohm cabinet plugged into the extra output.  This gives you a total impedance of 4 ohms, so you need to set the output impedance on the Z-matcher to 4 ohms.
The Z-matcher is a passive device that requires no AC power, and also does not color or affect your tone in any way.
